Light from Dark
The term Rare Conditions is something of a misnomer in that some of the conditions classified as such, are not rare as such, but then some are. One condition featured here has only been seen in the Faroe Islands and at the time I took the photographs only two children in the world were affected.
This work shot in Iceland and Scotland shines a light on lesser known conditions. Follow little Holly as she undergoes chemotherapy for an optical tumour as result of her being affected by Neurofibromatosis. Images rarely seen but which her parents want the world to see.
